Greetings and welcome to my personal website! My name is João Jerónimo, and I am a PhD economist with a background in competition and labour economics, econometrics, and applied data analysis. I currently work as an AI domain expert evaluating LLM performance on econometrics and data science tasks, including rubric development for causal inference workflows, econometric method selection, and code quality.

My research interests lie in labour economics, energy, and causal inference. I work extensively with large-scale administrative datasets (50M+ observations), using Python, R, and Stata to build econometric models for both inference and prediction.
